Dark Void comes from developer Airtight Games, a team featuring core designers of Xbox cult fave Crimson Skies: High Road to Revenge. It plays like Gears of War meets Rocketeer (yes, there’s flying and shooting) and tells the story a pilot who crashes in the Bermuda triangle and finds himself caught up in some kind of extra-dimensional alien invasion. Brad Pitt’s production company Plan B recently signed a deal to make a movie based on the game. Pitt himself may star as protagonist William Agustus Grey. Dark Void will be published by Capcom in January for the PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. |
